About Kirra
Hi, I'm Kirra. I'm a registered psychologist who works with adults who are good at holding it together on the outside, but privately exhausted by how much it takes.
Maybe you've learned to copy others, rehearse conversations, or perform "fine" until you get home. Maybe certain sounds, lights or social settings leave you needing real time to recover. Maybe you've been told you're "too intense" or "hard to read", and you've started to wonder whether there's more to the story.
I work in a neuro-affirming way, which means I respect neurological difference rather than trying to change who you are. You're welcome here whether you're autistic, ADHD, questioning, or simply tired of feeling out of step. I also offer adult autism assessments via telehealth for people who would like a clearer understanding of themselves.
Alongside this, I work with anxiety, burnout, people-pleasing, boundaries, emotional overwhelm, and the lasting effects of early family experiences, drawing on ACT, CBT and attachment-informed practice.
If any of this sounds like you, you're welcome to have a look at my website for more information about how I work and what assessment involves: www.slippsychology.com.au
